The dress code for the wedding is formal with a tropical twist. We’re calling it “Jungle Chic!”. Please keep in mind that it is very hot in Costa Rica and will be humid, so wear something that you are comfortable in. We recommend a breathable material! For more detail, please visit the “Wedding Events” tab - at the bottom you will find more information and moodboards.

Unfortunately, we are able to accommodate a limited number of guests. If we have invited you with a date, their name will be on your invitation.

Our ceremony and reception will be adults only, with the exception of our niece and nephew who will be attending the ceremony and are in the wedding party!
But we absolutely love your little ones! Please feel free to bring them with you. El Mangroove is a kid-friendly hotel, and there are lots of fun family-friendly adventures in the Papagayo Peninsula to explore!

Most of our friends and family will be staying at El Mangroove Hotel – which is also the wedding venue. If it fits within your budget, it would be easiest to stay here as the property is a closed and secure property that does not allow outside guests to attend with the exception of the welcome party and the wedding!
If El Mangroove Hotel does not fit your needs for any reason, we completely understand. We recommend you look at small boutique hotels or AirBNBs in Playa Hermosa! This beach is just 5 minutes down the road. Please reach out to Emily or Austin if you need some help!
-
Yes it is! The wedding will be in the Garden Plaza at El Mangroove Hotel.
