  • Beach Day in Playa Hermosa

    For those who have chosen to travel to Costa Rica earlier in the week, let’s get together on the beach and have some fun in the sun!

    This is truly a no frills kind of day with sand, swimming and pina coladas at the beach bar. The easiest way to get here is simply to Uber 5 minutes down the road!

  • Welcome Party Catamaran

    FRIDAY

    January 29, 2027 1:30PM-5:30PM

    Join us for a fun day on a 75-person catamaran with unlimited food and drinks. Please bring a swimsuit and cover up, or your most comfortable boat clothes. There are shaded areas on the catamaran for those who prefer to just relax and sail!

    For pickup, please meet us on the beach in front of El Mangroove Hotel at 1:00PM.

  • Ceremony & Reception

    SATURDAY

    January 30, 2027 4:00PM-10:00PM

    Please join us for our most special day. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00PM in the Garden Plaza at El Mangroove Hotel. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour, plated dinner and reception also in the Garden Plaza. Dress code is formal.

    For those who want to keep the party going past 10:00PM, the hotel bar will be waiting!

Dress Code

The dress code for the wedding is formal with a tropical twist.

We’re calling it “jungle chic”.

For Everyone: we know our friends and family love to show out when it comes to wardrobe! as a reminder, costa rica is very hot and humid. while There will be plenty of shade, we recommend choosing wardrobe that is breathable for maximum comfort. If you need help or have any questions about what to wear, feel free to text emily or Austin!

For Women: have fun with color and embrace the tropical spirit! Bring on the floral, the flowy, the beaded. Please also Keep in mind that the garden has a grass floor, so plan your shoes accordingly! Block heels or flats would work better than stilettos.

For Men: we know that formal in a tropical climate can feel stuffy or uncomfortable due to heat! if you’re going for a jacket, lighter materials like linen would be perfect. but Feel free to go no jacket too! tropical-inspired nice button downs with rolled sleeves or even a formal short sleeve are a-okay with us!
